Choosing the Development Environment

The default test development software for your Medalist ICT system (UnMux or Mux) is installed on the testhead controller.
On test development workstations, software licenses are provided for both the UnMux and Mux development environments. Test developers can switch between the development environments as follows:
Click the Switch Mux icon on the desktop to change to the development environment for Mux systems, or click the Switch UnMux icon to change to the UnMux development environment. The system automatically uninstalls the existing test development software, and installs the software for the selected system type.

Testhead

4.3 Testhead The testhead is that portion of the tester that supports the PIN, ASRU and Controller cards. The testhead is divided into two BANKS and each BANK is divided into two MODULES, see figure 2 below. Bank 1 contains modules 0 and 1, bank 2 contains modules 2 and 3. The test fixtures are placed on the banks of the tester and locked down for board testing.
